Nicely done. Gives it a feel for the period. Did you desaturate the image, then colour it yourself? The text gets lost in the photo though. Maybe if you made it all light with a drop shadow. Aesthetically, it could have been left off entirely, but I understand wanting to make it clear that it's a family portrait after they're married, meaning I can see why you'd want to add it.
